About Yihsuan Yeh
Born in 1973 in Tainan, Taiwan, I am an artist currently residing in Taiwan.
My works capture perspectives drawn from the real world, which I translate into multiple series of narratives. My works spans from concrete representations to purification of the chaotic world, embodying a vast and pervasive energy. This quality invites viewers into a unique “liminality,” a threshold awareness that offers an experience beyond the ordinary realm of phenomena—a distinct perceptual sensitivity that defines me as an artist.
For over 30 years, I have continuously explored the explicit characteristics of architectural structures and nature and engaged in subsequent self-introspection. My creative expression ranges from intimate, nuanced works to more intuitive pieces.
