About Michał Struk
I'm an amateur photographer with a full-time job that has nothing to do with cameras. Photography is something I fell into while traveling, and it's stayed with me ever since — a way of holding on to the places I'm lucky enough to see. Wherever I go, from Madeira and the Azores to the Faroe Islands, I try to bring a camera along and catch a bit of what the place actually feels like, usually in the early light when almost no one else is around.
I'm not chasing perfection or dramatic shots. I just like waiting for the moment when the light, the mist or the silence makes a landscape feel far bigger than us. That quiet sense of solitude is what keeps pulling me back out before sunrise, and what I'm always hoping to bring home.
