About Miles Astray
Inspired by slow travel, my work is a blend of writing and photography, art and activism. Framed by candor, but not caged in by any one genre, my work aims beyond catchy, flat, one-dimensional black or white narratives and notions of misery, happiness, modernity, and exoticism to depict authentic glimpses of here, there, and elsewhere. The result is both homage and appeal.
