Born in Kenitra on May 3, 2003, Ibtissam Idrissi is a Moroccan photographer and filmmaker driven by a deep passion for capturing the raw and poetic beauty of life. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Image Techniques and Engineering from the Higher Institute of Audiovisual and Cinema Professions (ISMAC), combining technical expertise with an innovative vision in her artistic practice.
Since 2018, Ibtissam has practiced photography not only as a professional skill, but also as an artistic pursuit, driven by a lasting interest in visual storytelling and experimental forms of art.
Her journey in photography and filmmaking is marked by a desire to explore unconventional perspectives. Ibtissam’s work often moves beyond conventional approaches, entering an experimental territory where images are not simply captured, but constructed to challenge perception.
She views images as far more than frozen moments; to her, they are living narratives that reveal hidden layers of emotion and invite the viewer to engage in a dialogue with the image. In her experimental films and photographic work, she plays with contrast, movement, and texture, capturing the essence of each scene through an artistic lens.
